Christie has lived in the Sea-to-Sky corridor since 1988. In 2003 she moved to Horseshoe Bay and managed Starfire Studio for 7 years. She was also instrumental in forming the Horseshoe Bay Business Association and creating Taste of the Bay, among other community-based events. After Starfire closed, Christie opened Presence in June 2011.
Presence offers a wonderful variety of talented artists’ work including jewellery, pottery, paintings, and clothing. There is also the ‘Rose Room”, used for intuitive readings by five well-known psychics. An in-store boutique, “Mimi’s Corner”, adds a whimsical flair to Presence. Presence also offers many evening events, from Feng Shui workshops, to spirit medium demonstrations, to nutritional seminars. There is truly something for everyone at Presence!
