Features Overview

 

Payworks will provide a dedicated account manager to your account, who knows and understands your account. You won’t have to deal with different account managers every time you call in with a question.

 

Methods of Input

§        Online – You can input your payroll from your own desktop and send us your payroll via the Internet.  You can also import your hours from Excel or Lotus Notes into our system, this saves time compared to keying the hours yourself.

§        Telephone – Your dedicated account manager will call to get the hours and changes for your payroll.

§        Fax – You can fax us your hours and changes and we will input your payroll for you.

§        Email – You can also email your hours and changes and we will input your payroll for you.

 

Timing of the Input

§        You can input your payroll 3 days prior to payday and still have Direct Deposit. Although, most of our clients input 4-5 days prior to payday. Once your payroll is submitted you will receive all of your reports and pay stubs back via the Internet or email within 1 hour. This gives you a lot more time to review your payroll compared to waiting for it to arrive via courier the next day. 

 

Reporting – You can receive electronic copies and hard copies of your reporting

§        Journal Entry – A standard report that comes with each payroll run. Our Journal Entry can support General Ledger codes that are alpha or numeric and can contain up to 35 characters.

§        Funds Summary – A standard report that comes with each payroll run. This report shows the amount of your payroll and breaks down your service fees.

§        Payroll RegisterA standard report that comes with each payroll run. Your payroll register is a summary of each employee with his or her current and year-to-date information. You can have your register sorted by employee number, name or department.

§        Special Reports You can produce your own special reports with our report writer. These reports are free and because the data is on your PC you can create them whenever you need them. We also have a number of report templates that you can use or we can create some unique reports for you.

 

Other Features – Rounding out the total payroll solution

§        Account Manager – Chamber members will be assigned a dedicated Account Manager, who will be responsible for providing assistance and support through the setup process and on an ongoing basis.

§        Setup Support – Payworks will do virtually everything for you when we are setting up your account. We will key in all your employee information for you from your current system. The entire setup process takes less than 2 weeks.

§        Human ResourceWith your Payworks software we have also bundled a HR module, free of charge that is fully integrated with the payroll. This HR module includes Absence Tracking, Property Allocation, Certification & Licenses, Education & Experience, Employee Census, Insurable Earnings, Performance Management, Rate History Change and Training & Development.

§        Training We will give you training on our system free of charge and the training is done at your location.

§        Year End For year-end, you'll receive a complete set of management reports. We prepare employee T4s, T4As, and government summaries on your behalf. Your employees will receive their tax forms in confidential, pre-addressed envelopes.
