Gary Mussatto, President Born and raised on the North Shore Gary has owned and operated his own business for the past fifteen years. Starting first with Chevron as a franchisee with 2 Town Pantry's nine years ago, Gary designed and started the Gator Pit at Park Royal. Five years after that he opened another store which is now the Toy Jungle, also in Park Royal. Gary has served as the President of the Park Royal Merchant's Association for seven years. He is also involved with Retail BC. In 2004 Gary and his wife Misti, were named "Toy Retailers of the Year" for Canadian independent toy stores. Nicole Garton-Jones, 1st Vice PresidentNicole Garton-Jones is the principal of Heritage Law and practices in the areas of wills, estates, family law and mediation. Nicole serves as a volunteer and on the board of numerous organizations in the community and is a graduate of Leadership Vancouver and the Women’s Campaign School. Andrew Pottinger, 2nd Vice PresidentAndrew Pottinger is principal of his own public relations consulting firm A.J. Pottinger & Associates. Prior to forming his own firm, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Vancouver office of Hill & Knowlton, an international public relations firm. In the community, he serves as volunteer Chair of the Pro Nova Ensemble, the North Shore’s only resident chamber music ensemble with a regular concert series. Gabrielle Loren, TreasurerGabrielle Loren is a Certified General Accountant and partner at Loren, Nancke & Company, a public practice accounting firm located in North Vancouver. She has served on the board of the North Shore Counseling Centre and the Condominium Home Owners Association of BC and is presently the treasurer for the Collingwood School Parent Council and the past president of SWAN – a North Shore women’s networking group. Linda Swain, Secretary Linda is the General Manager of Cypress Mountain. Linda is responsible for the operation and development of this recreation business and has been with the parent company for over twenty years. Linda is the lead liaison with VANOC ( Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic Games) and has been very involved in the Games initiative from the Bid Phase and award of the Games, through to the current planning stage of the events being held at Cypress in 2010. Linda is a former director of the Canada West Ski Areas Association, The Council of Tourism Association of BC and the Cross Country Ski Areas Association. Linda is a resident of West Vancouver and a member of the West Vancouver Tourism Foundation working group. Rick Amantea, DirectorRick Amantea is Vice President of Park Royal Shopping Centre and The Village at Park Royal. Through business and personal commitments Rick serves the community of West Vancouver and the North Shore in a variety of ways. In addition to his role as a Director of the WVCC, he also sits on the Spirit of BC North Shore Community Committee, North Shore Business Council, Park the Tax Coalition, and is the BC Provincial Director for the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mark Ballard, Director Mark Ballard is a long time resident of West Vancouver, active both in business and community groups. After graduating from UBC in Urban Land Economics and working for a few years in construction, Mark entered the world of banking and quickly rose to the position of area manager for a national trust company, where he spent the next seventeen years specializing in mortgage finance. Later, he headed the sales team of a regional magazine liaising with local businesses and assisting them in their marketing. With all of this experience, it has been a natural transition to a career in real estate with RE/MAX Masters Realty. __________________________________________________________________________________

Jason Bowman, Director Jason Bowman, is the Regional Director for BC Ferries at Horseshoe Bay. As a newer resident to West Vancouver, he is already quite active in the community with Rotary and the West Vancouver Yacht Club Racing Committee. Jason brings a wealth of experience to the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, with an MBA from McGill University in Business. Graham Fane, Director
Graham is Dean of Business at Capilano University in North Vancouver. Recently appointed as Dean, Graham spent the previous 31 years as a faculty member in the school of business teaching accounting and strategic management. Graham has written two textbooks on strategic management and has operated a successful consulting practice in strategic and business planning since 1989. He is a current director of the British Columbia and Yukon Community Newspaper Association as well as a member of Lions Gate Rotary. Megan Sewell, Director Megan Sewell is part of the fourth generation of Sewell's Marina, carrying on the tradition of boating fun in Horseshoe Bay. She is currently the general manager at Sewell's Marina, and is the Vice-President of the Horseshoe Bay Business Association. Luis Sopeña, DirectorLuis Sopeña occupies a special place in the field of modern art. Throughout his professional career he has attempted to paint human nature in an extremely individualistic manner. His subjects are as diversified as his style, which results in an interesting collection of work. His work has been exhibited in France, Holland, England, Spain, the United States & Canada, and many of his paintings are in private collections throughout the world. Luis has owned and operated the Caulfeild Art Gallery for the past eighteen years in West Vancouver offering his services of restoration, appraisals and evaluations. Haleh (Holly) K. Alexander, Ex-Officio, Past President Haleh (Holly) K. Alexander is Branch Manager, RBC Royal Bank, Park Royal Branch in West Vancouver. RBC Financial Group is committed to supporting the social and economic health of communities. A resident of the North and West Vancouver since 1983, Haleh is married with two children. Haleh is active on various committees within and outside of RBC, especially those interested in promoting the integration of the large North Shore Iranian population to the community at large as well as promoting activities for youth and small business within the community. Michael Evison, Ex-Officio, CouncillorMichael, married with two adult children & five grandchildren, is a FCCA Fellow, Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK). His career included positions in property development, forestry, VP of a hotel group and President of Calibre Consultants Inc. a diversified company specializing in financing corporations. In 1990 he started Calibre Landscaping to promote environmentally conscious garden design and construction. Michael has an outstanding record of participation in many civic and community groups over the past three decades. In addition to being active in the District of West Vancouver, Michael has held and continues to maintain memberships and executive positions in a variety of business and professional associations and groups.
